Your new classes, set up in an afternoon

The first fortnight back is the most front-loaded stretch of the school year. New groups, new rooms, new duties, and a curriculum that starts on Monday whether or not you've had time to plan it. Most of that weekend isn't teaching — it's typing things into boxes.

This update is aimed squarely at that. You can now set up a whole teaching year in one sitting: bring your timetable in, name your classes, choose your curriculum, year group and subject, and aime lays out the term's scheme of work underneath them — sequenced, curriculum-traceable, and ready for you to move things around.

Crucially, it arrives as a draft, not a decree. Everything is editable. Drag a topic later, drop a week for the trip you already know about, split a unit that always takes longer than the plan says. aime reflows the rest of the term around your change instead of asking you to redo it.

If you taught the same subject last year, it carries forward what it learned — the topics that always need an extra lesson, the explanations you kept returning to — so year two starts from experience rather than a blank page.
